The Blakeman Family’s Journey to Creating a Permanent Home for Maushop Equestrian Center in East Falmouth

In 2019, Kyle and Sophia Blakeman moved to East Falmouth with a dream: to build a barn on their property and create a permanent home for Robin Blakeman’s business. That dream began taking shape in the fall of 2024 when construction of the barn foundation officially began. Less than a year later, on August 15, 2025, they proudly welcomed the horses home, relocating from Mashpee to their new East Falmouth property. Today, their facility offers updated amenities designed for both horse and rider. The property features a spacious 170’ x 85’ outdoor riding ring, a 56-foot round pen, a large grass field, and a walkout track. Riders also enjoy easy access to scenic trails, including routes that lead to a beautiful freshwater pond. The Blakemans are thrilled to continue growing their business in a setting that reflects their long-term vision—providing quality facilities in a peaceful, accessible location they are proud to call home.
